I had the opportunity to work with two of my favorite people before I leave for college in two days. Zac and Natalie act like brother and sister more than anything else and they make every moment together quality time. Whether going out to dinner together or laughing about the most unusual things, they made this best friend photo shoot into something truly enjoyable.

It's amazing how fast time flies. Lauren and Cameron have been in my life for as long as I can remember and it's crazy to see how fast they've grown up, even with me hanging out with them most summer days. Lauren is beautiful and confident in all that she does and says that when she grows up, she wants to be a doctor. Cameron is a very handsome and ambitious young boy who aims to be a major league baseball player (watch out, ladies!). It'll be a difficult transition to leave them as I go to college, but they'll always have my heart.

I had such a blast working with these girls for their best friend photoshoot before they head off to college. They are always prone to laughter and I know it's because they spend a lot of time together. Without volleyball, they wouldn't be as close as they are today, but more than anything, they have the kind of friendship that inspires me.

Kristin was an absolute joy to work with for her senior pictures. I knew it was going to be easy because of her radiant smile and bubbly personality. We went everywhere from Downtown KC to Overland Park and Olathe and never once did she complain about the drive. Her beautiful mother (who has been a high school teacher of mine) came along for the ride. I can only imagine how hard it must be seeing her wonderful daughter grow up so fast. Good luck in all that you do, Kristin.

With only a few weeks left before heading off to college, my family packed up and headed to the wild west! Well, not exactly, but it sure seemed like it. Our first stop was the Grand Canyon, which was absolutely breathtaking. We hiked in hundred-degree humidity and even met a park ranger, but the best part was seeing that it expanded far beyond the horizon. After our day trip, we spent the rest of our time in the extravagant "wild" city of Las Vegas. The culture in Vegas astounded me the most. We'd step in an elevator and speak to someone only to get a confused look on their faces- like we were the foreigners. Between all of the shopping around town and top-notch performances, we managed to spend some time at the hotel beach catching some sun. I'd say this was one of my favorite family vacations simply because we had a great time together, while being exposed to both the beautiful canyon and provocative city of lights.

When you spend over twenty months with someone, it's hard to let anything get in the way of your relationship. Before I go off to college, I thought it would be a good idea to capture some of the most special times that I've spent with this guy. He's been there for me through every roller coaster we've faced along the way and I'm going to miss him more than ever.
On another side note, I thought this would be a good way to let my followers know that I am more than willing to start taking couples photographs, along with my current engagement and wedding photography.
Again, thank you to everyone who has stayed caught up on all of my work.
