Since I will be taking a new journey to the University of Kansas this spring 2015, it's really hard to say goodbye to my new best friend. Katie has been my roommate (by choice!) and everything I could've hoped for in a "sister". She's beautiful, funny, and talented. In this last photo shoot we went on together, I was able to capture our relationship together, as well as some creative shots of this amazing girl. I can't say how thankful I am enough to have met her.

Tyler is such an accomplished young man! With it being his senior year at The University of Iowa, he asked me to do some nice portraits of him for future job applications. Of course I gave him a lot of nice close-up headshots, but these fun scene-setting ones were definitely my favorite.

I had such a wonderful experience photographing these beautiful sorority girls as cold as it was! This gave me a great opportunity to explore downtown Iowa City and the parks around the city. I'm so glad to be getting back into my photo sessions and that my new sisters thought of me to do their senior pictures as a group. These girls have such incredible spirits and contagious smiles. Best wishes to you all!

Katie is more than my college roommate- she is a one-of-a-kind girl with a bubbly personality that I aimed to capture in our spontaneous photo shoot to Palisades in Mount Vernon. The best thing about the trip is that we were able to surprise her parents back home and see her brother all dressed up for his homecoming ('tis the season). Although I've been bogged down with college work, I really hope that I'll have time to expand my portfolio in my new hometown of beautiful Iowa City.

I was so excited to accompany my sorority girls on a trip to the local apple orchard! The weather was absolutely beautiful for wandering the fields and we all made sure to treasure the time together before winter is brought upon us.

I'm so proud of my baby sister for winning junior homecoming princess. All this time together and she was always a beauty to me- I'm just ecstatic that my alma mater recognized her inner and outer beauty, as well. I hope you had a great time at the dance, Regan!

I had the opportunity to work with two of my favorite people before I leave for college in two days. Zac and Natalie act like brother and sister more than anything else and they make every moment together quality time. Whether going out to dinner together or laughing about the most unusual things, they made this best friend photo shoot into something truly enjoyable.
